Despite the storm on Saturday, the 60th anniversary of the Espanola Ski Club was held with family-oriented activities, special speakers and ski competitions throughout the day.
Espanola Mayor Doug Gervais and AMK MP Carol Hughes were just two of the speakers extending their congratulations to the club on the milestone.
The day included children’s games, an Easter Egg hunt and the Show Ponies band providing entertainment through the evening.
