By Rosalind Russell – The skim pond is in, and the special venues are set up for the Espanola Ski Club to host its 60th-anniversary festivities tomorrow.
Boogie Mountain has been set up to offer a full day of events from normal ski and snowboard runs, as well as skimming across a foot of cold water, that’s called the Pond Skim, for the Slush Cup bragging rights.
There will also be kids’ activities throughout the day including an Easter Egg Hunt.
There is also a barbecue, entertainment, dancing, costumes and more to mark the milestone.
