The Lions Club hopes that $7,100 will help the 156 keen hockey players, over 24 coach volunteers, and the supportive executive of Espanola Minor Hockey. Thanks to the many keen Catch the Ace sellers and a donation from the club, Espanola Minor Hockey can continue with their very busy schedule. Tournaments are a big part of a busy season: ten teams, three tournaments each, 3 tournaments in town, away games, etc. This money will help defer the cost of refs, ice time, jerseys and the many banners our Minor Hockey teams win!
On hand to receive the cheque are Shauna Mailloux, Mel Rancourt, and Katrina Beavis plus future “N.H.L. ers” !!!
