Swing Bridge undergoing inspection starting today

By Rosalind Russell – A routine inspection of the Little Current Swing Bridge has been scheduled starting today and running through until Friday.

Ministry of Transportation Director of Northeastern Operations, Herb Villneff says the inspection will involve testing of bridge components.

He adds bridge test swings will occur between 9 am and 1 pm as required, which means it will be closed to vehicle traffic on Highway Six for 15 minutes on the hour.

Villneff adds temporary signage will be in place to provide motorists with advance notice of closures.
