Thefts from Black Creek Sno-Trails

By Rosalind Russell – The volunteers that maintain the Black Creek Sno-Trails in Espanola are asking for the public’s help.

Enthusiast Jackie Rivet say ropes donated from Hydro One that were used to help those who have mobility issues climb and descend the hills are gone.

However, she says four of the ropes were stolen this weekend.

Rivet asks if anyone has rope to donate, they have to be at least 3/4s to an inch thick for safety reasons it would be appreciated by private messaging the Black Creek Sno-Trails on Facebook.
