Planned power outage for some Algoma communities

By Rosalind Russell – Hydro One has a planned power outage set for some Algoma communities at the end of the month.

Hydro One says there will be a power outage on Sunday, May 28 from 7 am until 1:00 pm affecting 1,186 customers.

The outage will affect Sables-Spanish River Township, Serpent River First Nation, and the unorganized areas of Shakespeare, Salter, Harrow, and McKinnon.

Utility workers will be replacing hydro poles in the area.
