By Rosalind Russell – The Junior and senior baseball teams of Atikameksheng and Serpent River First Nations demonstrated true sportsmanship and hard work at a recent tournament.
The youth participated in practices and games at home and away where they learned skills and have fun while developing an understanding of First Nation culture and teachings.
Organizers are looking forward to the initiative again next year with the two capping off the season with some fun on the diamond.
