By Rosalind Russell – The Nairn & Hyman Township contingent of volunteer firefighters will be hosting an Open House later this month.
The open house is to show some of the renovations that have been done in the station and to also provide the community with an opportunity to meet and talk with their local firefighters.
It is also an opportunity to talk with individuals who may consider joining the corp.
The Open House is slate for July 15th from 11 am to 1 pm at the fire hall.
The gathering includes tours, a free barbecue, and activities for the children including exploring a fire truck.
