By Rosalind Russell – If you are heading out the door today, consider stopping in at your local Tim Hortons to buy a coffee to raise funds for children to go to camp.
It is Camp Day and Timmy’s staff will be joined by volunteers in their respective communities to work on the drive thru, or counter, or to wash windshields, all the raise funds that stay in the local area.
The five franchises of Elliot Lake, Blind River, Espanola, McKerrow and Little Current all have bracelets and badges for sale.
The funds raised will help up to 20 children from the local area attend a Tim Hortons Camp.
