Espanola fills vital recreation roles

By Rosalind Russell – The Town of Espanola has filled two vital recreation roles.

Town Clerk Joseph Burke says Cori Duplessis has been hired as the new Supervisor of Community and Recreation.

He adds she fills Cheryl Kennelly’s former role following her retirement in June.

Burke says Bailey Bouwmeester, the current Facilities Supervisor has been promoted to Manager of Community and Recreation.

He says he is filling the vacancy left by Dan Deschamps who decided to resign to take on another role elsewhere.

The two have already begun working in their separate roles overseeing the wide variety of recreational and community initiatives in Espanola.
