By Rosalind Russell – Elliot Lake residents are being asked to avoid the Scott Road if possible while reconstruction gets underway.
The City of Elliot Lake says maintenance and resurfacing begins today and is expected to be completed by the end of the month from the beginning of Scott Road down to the intersection of Pearson Drive.
According to the release, the roads maybe reduced to one lane at times, so motorists are asked to be patient and take alternative routes if possible.
