By Rosalind Russell – Veteran’s Transportation is prepping one of its buses for some special cargo.
General Manager Allanah Pelletier says they will be sending the bus to Espanola schools on Thursday and then on Friday for the annual Stuff the Bus campaign.
Students are asked to bring non-perishable items to school for pick up to fill the bus to the ceiling for the local food banks.
Once the bus is filled, it will deliver the items directly to the food banks to fill the shelves for those in need.
