Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride coming to the North

By Rosalind Russell – The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is coming to Northern Ontario next year.

Fauve Gravelle of Northern Legacy Horse Farm in Whitefish near Sudbury says they have received confirmation the Musical Ride will be coming to their location July 6th and 7th, 2024.

She says as a symbol of tradition, honour, and pride, the Musical Ride is a Canadian icon recognized at home and abroad.

The troop of up to 32 riders, who are all police officers, and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music, lasting about 30 minutes with these movements demand the utmost control, timing, and coordination.

Gravelle says final details will be released in early Spring.

The show will take place at 688 Penage Lake Road in Whitefish.
