Unique opportunity to train with the best

By Rosalind Russell – For those who walk and hike at Black Creek, you are invited to a North Shore Search & Rescue “Adventure Smart” presentation offering a unique opportunity to train with the best.

Trail enthusiast Jacqueline Rivet says the hands-on presentation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. next Thursday, November 23rd, at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.  

She says Adventure Smart is a guide to outdoor safety and anyone who is interested must register now to save your seat for the free event, since there are only 30 spaces available.

Participants will also have a chance to win an original hand painted cardinal.
