École Saint-Joseph students assisting children overseas

By Rosalind Russell – A caring tradition continues this holiday season at a Blind River school.

CSC Nouvelon communications director, Paul de la Riva says École Saint-Joseph in Blind River is once again taking part in Operation Christmas Child, giving gift boxes to children around the world affected by war, poverty, famine, and disasters.

He says every box is a symbol of hope, joy, and love for these children in need.

The campaign runs throughout the rest of November with the boxes being sent to Samaritan’s Purse in Toronto and the sent overseas to the children in time for the holiday season.
