By Rosalind Russell – The 47th Annual Espanola Elks Hamper fundraiser in partnership with The Moose 99.3FM was a big success to provide hampers featuring a complete Christmas dinner to those in need in the North Shore Corridor.
Fundraiser chair Gary Tennant says around $8,000 was raised so far with more funds coming in.
He extends a big thank you to all the contributors who made the yearly campaign a success.
Tennant adds between 150 to 200 families and individuals from Massey east to Nairn and south to Whitefish Falls will receive their Christmas Hampers just before the holidays.
