By Rosalind Russell – Elliot Lake council unanimously voted in favour of Denis Gratton Construction Ltd. as the successful bidder for the project to retrofit Hillside Drive North.
Council also agreed that Tulloch Engineering will be engaged under the City’s existing service agreement with the firm for site supervision, materials testing and project administration services for the project.
The cost of the project is just over $9.4 million and will come from the Infrastructure Services Reserve.
Construction for the project is planned to take 12 weeks starting no later than May.
