By Rosalind Russell – The City of Elliot Lake’s Municipal Enforcement is planning an open house for the public to meet staff and understand the processes involved in municipal enforcement of bylaws.
Amanda Laurence, Deputy Clerk & Accessibility Coordinator, says residents are invited to the open house on Tuesday, January 30th from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Collins Hall.
She also provided a quarterly review emphasizing the department has seen a 25% increase in calls.
Laurence adds city staff is also working on a partnership to enforce parking at St. Joseph’s General Hospital.
She says final year in review report for 2024 will be presented soon.
