By Rosalind Russell – There is a grassroots movement in Elliot Lake to enter the Kraft Hockeyville contest.
City officials say they’re doing their part by promoting the event pointing out if they win, they could bring home $250,000, which would help with repairs to the Centennial Arena, and an NHL game as well.
Since the event is entered online, if you don’t have a computer, join city staff on Tuesday, February 6th at the Elliot Lake Library from 1 pm to 5:30 pm.
Go online at: www.krafthockeyville.ca and nominate Centennial Arena.
Volunteers from the City Of Elliot Lake, Elliot Lake Vikings Jr A Hockey Team, and Elliot Lake Minor Hockey Association will also be on hand to help you with your nomination.
Nominators must have a valid email address for your entry.
