Elliot Lake man fundraising for Snowarama third year in a row – hopes to top last year’s record

By Rosalind Russell – Last year, an Elliot Lake man raised just over $10,000, the highest single amount ever raised for Easter Seals Snowarama in 49 years.

This year, Leo Daviau hopes to beat that record in his third year of supporting the Espanola/North Shore Snowarama, which will be held Sunday, February 9th.

He says it is all about the children with physical challenges who need equipment to make their life easier.

Daviau adds he is especially pleased to see the money stay in the local area to help local children and families in the North Shore Corridor.
