By Rosalind Russell – Members of the North Shore Search & Rescue from Espanola and Sudbury were called into the search for a missing Sudbury councillor on Friday.

Police, search and rescue, and volunteers are continuing their ground search for Michael Vagnini, who went missing a week ago Saturday.

The public is being asked to stay away from McCharles Lake Road and Panache Lake Road areas west of Lively as police deploy both aerial and ground searches for Vagnini.

Vagnini was last seen driving his black 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 truck on January 27th.

His license plate is BK22178 and there is damage to the rear right taillight.
