By Rosalind Russell – The Elliot Lake Intermediate School nutrition program shelves have been filled by kindness and community donations.
According to the release, this January Harvest Kitchen volunteers and students teamed up to run a farm fresh egg fundraiser using local Grade A eggs from farmers in Algoma.
With the support of the community, they raised $780 towards food security for ELIS students and the Harvest Kitchen initiative to help the wider community.
