By Rosalind Russell – Despite cloudy skies a fair number of motorcyclists attended the Blessing of the Bikes on Sunday.
Held at the Masonic Lodge 698 Heritage Hall in Elliot Lake, Reverend. Michael Winstanley oversaw the ceremony followed by a light lunch and checking out the chrome.
All the funds donated to mark the day will go towards Malia Latendresse of Massey for a new wheelchair ramp for her home.
The event is co-hosted yearly by the Lodge and the Provincial Grand Chaplain Widows Sons Board.
