By Rosalind Russell – Despite light rain, twelve riders braved the rain Sunday to ride from Sudbury to Manitoulin Island and back again for Special Olympics Ontario.
The participants and supporters raised $3,370 as part of the annual Law Enforcement Motorcycle Ride, well over their goal of $2,000.
The funds raised through torch runs and rides provides year-round training and activities with the funds directly towards funding local community Special Olympics programs.
