By Rosalind Russell – Cambrian College is inviting the public to take part in its first annual Pride Run.
The event, which features a one kilometre and a five-kilometre course to walk or run, will be held on Saturday, July 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the main campus in Sudbury.
This is a family event, so all participants will receive a prize package, free pancake breakfast ($10 for family and friends), a fun zone with activities for the kids with the Purple Kitchen and Magical Paws on site.
The entry fee for the one-kilometre course is $15, $35 for the five-kilometre, kids under 12 are free.
All proceeds from the event will be used to establish bursaries for students who are part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
