By Rosalind Russell – The Municipalities of the LaCloche Foothills have signage available for homeowners to put on their properties encouraging drivers to slow down.
The brightly coloured signage which features ‘a child profile’ and the wording, “Watch for Us When Driving”, is available at municipal offices.
The signs are free on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There are also large stickers for garbage cans or bins that share the safety message.
The project is a collaborative project between the townships of Sables-Spanish, Nairn & Hyman, Baldwin, the Town of Espanola and Public Health Sudbury & Districts.

They are free so you can pick up your own at your municipal office, first come, first serve. Photo by Rosalind M. Russell
