By Rosalind Russell – Health Sciences North has issued an infrastructure emergency due to ongoing power issues caused by recent weather events.
Communication director Jason Turnbull says the hospital’s Emergency Department continues to be open 24/7 for all urgent and emergency care needs.
He says all non-urgent out-patient procedures and clinics are cancelled at HSN for today, Wednesday, August 28th and impacted patients have been notified.
Turnbull adds they will provide an update when more information becomes available.
