By Rosalind Russell – The Wikwemikong Tribal Police will be introducing their new Chief of Police at the inaugural Community Safety Fair this week.
According to the release, the service is hosting the fair to introduce new Chief of Police, Ron Gignac, who most recently served as police chief in Belleville and began working in his new role in late June.
The fair will also feature forensic displays, safety practices, policing partners including the RCMP and career information with the public.
The event will be held this Thursday, October 9 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Recreation and Cultural Centre.
