By Rosalind Russell – The official opening of not one, but three kid friendly areas at St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake is set.
Officials say the grand opening will be held on November 27th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. (in the cafeteria,) for the grand opening of three new kid-friendly rooms.
They add the spaces, created in partnership with the SmileZone Foundation and Tim Hortons, will provide a more welcoming and comforting environment for children receiving care.
The collaboration reflects the power of community support in enhancing healthcare for young patients and their families.
