Housing funding opening for municipalities

By Rosalind Russell – A direct delivery stream of the Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund is opens to municipalities today. 

Nickel Belt MP Marc Serré says a billion dollars is being made available to municipalities for urgent infrastructure needs that directly create housing.  

Communities can submit applications for projects ranging from a million to 100-million dollars — with at least 10% of the funding dedicated to Indigenous communities.
