Increased military traffic can be expected on major highways in Northern Ontario for the next three days.
Canadian Army Reserve personnel and vehicles from northern units of 33 Canadian Brigade Group (33 CBG) will be moving personnel and equipment from Sudbury, North Bay and Timmins to Burwash, Ontario for a training exercise.
Exercise WOLFHOUND STRIKE will include personnel from The Algonquin Regiment, The Irish Regiment of Canada and 33 Service Battalion.
Personnel will converge on Burwash Range and Training Area to conduct simulated combat operations, and military vehicles will be travelling on Highways 11 and 17 as part of the exercise.
