New chair for Cambrian College governors

By Rosalind Russell – Cambrian College says Jennifer Taback is the new chair of the Board of Governors. 

Taback is a member of the Shawanaga First Nation and lives in Greater Sudbury. 

She has worked in the design industry for more than 15 years, with experience ranging from research and assessments to implementation and support for both the private and public sectors. 

Taback is also the co-founder of Design de Plume, an Indigenous and women-owned, award-winning creative agency that launched in 2009. 

She will serve a one-year term.

They board also welcomed new members including Gurpreet Broca, Mark Hartman, Shannon Restoule, and student governor Victor Ogochukwu.
