Jeunesse Nord students support the Blind River Food Bank

By Rosalind Russell – Students at a North Shore Corridor school are helping Blind River Food Bank.

Last week, members of the school community at École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord in Blind River joined forces at the “United Against Hunger” charity event to do their part.

As part of the school-led annual food drive, students and staff went door-to-door in the community to collect non-perishable food items and donations to support the charity.

Food items and $233 was collected by the students who extend a thank you to the community for supporting the cause.
