By Rosalind Russell – The Espanola Elks have donated to the Espanola Regional Hospital & Health Centre Auxiliary earlier this week.
The Elks hosted their annual Dinner, Dance and Elimination Draw back in October. They recently donated the $900 in proceeds to the auxiliary to help with the purchase of hospital equipment.
The auxiliary recently donated $40,000 to the hospital foundation for the new cardiac monitoring system.
The Moose 99.3 FM has partnered with the hospital to host the annual Christmas Radiothon set for Friday, December 6th to help in the fundraising for the $600,000 need for the new monitoring system.
