Elliot Lake drafting new bylaw for short-term rentals

By Rosalind Russell – Elliot Lake’s Bylaw and Planning Committee is looking at drafting a new bylaw for short-term rentals, which will need the approval of council.

However, the first step the committee is taking is to collect public input from the wider community, especially visitors who utilize short-term rentals.

The survey is available on the city’s website at elliotlake.ca.

The deadline to respond is December 13th.

The committee will then review the comments to draft the bylaw, which will then go to council for yet another review and possible approval, likely early in the New Year.
