By Rosalind Russell – Santa does need some help at times, and Espanola has some of the best “Santa Helpers” around. The Agnes Michon Lions Toy Drive is in full swing, the toys, toques, mitts collected and now its time to wrap them up for families throughout the Espanola and North Shore Corridor.
The Lion’s Club is hosting the wrap party Thursday, December 19th at 10 am at the Espanola Legion and ask you to bring your scissors and smiles to help the cause.
The Lions say up to 200 kids are on Santa’s list this year, so volunteers are more than welcome to help wrap the gifts and deliver them to Santa’s sleigh next week.
