By Rosalind Russell – Premier Doug Ford is threatening to cut off the power for the five American states it provides energy to, over U-S plans to increase import tariffs.
Canada and the provinces are preparing retaliatory tariffs over U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s promise to bring in a 25 per cent import tax on all Canadian goods.
Ford says they’ll use – quote — every tool in the toolbox, including cutting them off.
He adds they need to be prepared – saying the fight is coming January 20th or 21st.
