Shirley Mousseau has experienced serious health issues this year but has still managed to knit over 60 pairs of mitts for the Agnes Michon Lions toy drive. Over the past few decades, she has made thousands of mitts to keep kids warm during the winter months. Plus, she knits for her gandchildren, neighbours’ children and great grandchildren. Shirley is keen and dedicated and has already started on mitts for next year. Clearing the snow from her large deck is no longer on her “to do” list, but cleaning, cooking, baking and gardening are!!!
She remains an inspiration to me and to her many friends on Old Webbwood Road.
