By Rosalind Russell – The Espanola High School Junior Boys Basketball Team is off to a great start in 2025.
Last week, the team travelled to Sudbury for the Mitch Lalonde Memorial Basketball Tournament.
They won their first two games putting them up against O’Gorman High from Timmins, and then defeating them 49 to 43 bring home the trophy.
This is the second tournament won this year for the Spartans who now stand at 14-0 for the season.
