By Rosalind Russell – The two clubs will host the 100th Anniversary Baxter Cup, a friendly rivalry between Little Current and Espanola curlers, this weekend.
On Friday, February 7th it will open in Little Current and the next day, February 8th in Espanola, five teams from each club will compete for the 100th year in a row.
First awarded in 1925 by George Baxter, everyone is welcome to come out and cheer on their favourite teams.
Espanola will welcome the Little Current curlers at 3 pm with games starting at 6 pm this Saturday.
