By Rosalind Russell – This year is the 100th anniversary of the Old Mill in Kagawong on Manitoulin Island, and the museum is looking to the public for help preparing for a commemorative display.
Curator Rick Nelson says ceremonial events are being planned and they are preparing the museum for the new display.
He says they are looking for additional historical information, including photos and memorabilia.
Nelson adds they would also like any information about who worked at the former mill/hydro plant over the years since it was built.
The Old Mill now houses a museum and artist centre.
