By Rosalind Russell – A Manitoulin Island curling team will represent at nationals this fall.
Team Chandler from Little Current won the Men’s event defeating team Belchior from Fort William Curling Club winning the Northern Ontario Curling Association crown.
For the women, the team off to nationals is Team Daley from the North Bay Granite Club.
The teams will both represent the North at Nationals in November.
The playdowns were hosted by the Espanola Curling Club over the last five days.
