Once again this year the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank is the lucky recipient of all proceeds from this year’s Smile Cookie Campaign. Last year our grand total was just over $14,000. That is a lot of the above ingredients!!!
If you are looking for a way to help out the Food Bank as a volunteer, remember no artistic ability is required. The shifts are two hours at the Tim’s in town or in McKerrow …. a fun two hours with a friend or a spouse. Perhaps volunteers from your club, group or business could partner up and help out. If you are interested please phone 705-869-5798 and we’ll try to fit a two hour slot that suits you. Times are 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m, 11.00 a,m, to 1:00 p.m, and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Dates this year are April 29th to May 5th.
It’s a delicious and great way to help our local Food Bank help others in need in our community.
