By Rosalind Russell – The province is giving every Ontarian a $200 tax rebate.
Premier Doug Ford says families are struggling with the high costs of the federal carbon tax and interest rates, so Wednesday’s Fall Economic Statement included the rebate.
Cheques will be arriving early in the new year.
When asked if he’s trying to buy votes ahead of a possible early election, Ford says they’ve been giving taxpayers their money back for six years through a variety of initiatives.
