Avoid the Boom Camp Trails … just for today

By Rosalind Russell – The Town of Blind River is asking users to avoid The Boom Camp Trails, but just for today.

According to the release, volunteers will be out on the trails between 7 am and 3 pm to replace rotten and damaged posts, signage and clearing bush.

The funding for the work is coming from the Trans Canada Trail as a joint upgrade by both Blind River and the Mississauga First Nation.

Cameco Cares staff will also be out volunteering their time as well as members of the Blind River Cross Country Ski Club, which is coordinating the upgrades throughout the day.
