By Rosalind Russell – CTV News is reporting a cabinet shuffle is coming today in Ottawa – citing sources as saying several backbenchers will be promoted.
The move comes after Monday’s abrupt resignation of former finance minister Chrystia Freeland.
Reports suggest some ministers who won’t be seeking reelection will be replaced in today’s ceremony at Rideau Hall – with the P-M also said to be filling gaps with some ministers serving playing double duty with portfolios.
