Celebration of complex and Wall of Fame Induction

By Rosalind Russell – Espanola is preparing for the 25th anniversary celebration of the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex and Wall of Fame Induction ceremony. 

The event will include displays featuring the 25-year history of the complex, which has included such events as hosting the longest hockey game in history in 2001, the Man in Motion World Tour 25th Anniversary Relay on December 15, 2011, and notables such as Caroline Erhardt and Al Secord and more. 

The inductees for the Wall of Fame will also be introduced featuring individuals and/or organizations that have put Espanola on the map. 

It is a semi-formal event being held on October 17th from 7 pm to 9 pm, and anyone wishing to attend must RSVP.
