By Rosalind Russell – The annual Moose 99.3 FM 10th Annual Christmas Radiothon has brought the Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation to the $100,000 mark.
The radiothon was held last Friday to help raise the $400,000 needed for a new cardiac monitoring system.
Foundation publicist Terri Noble says $50,000 was raised through the Second Annual Classic Golf Tournament and another $40,000 was donated by the hospital auxiliary.
She adds the foundation is still waiting for the results of the Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign, and some large donors will be announcing their donations soon.
Noble thanks everyone for their support adding memorial and direct donations can be made at the foundation office throughout the year.
