By Rosalind Russell – Community Living Algoma in Elliot Lake is celebrating its 70th anniversary of the provincial agency today with a community gathering.
CLA is hosting a community barbecue today from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Collins Hall.
It is free and open to the public providing an opportunity to meet with staff and clients, as well as learn about the various programs and supports the agency provides.
The mandate of Community Living is to provide support to people with intellectual disabilities.
