By Rosalind Russell – The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is a recipient of a BRAVO! Award – Coup de cœur from the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education.
Director of Education, Sébastien Fontaine says the board’s communications department was recognized for its environmental initiative including a series of posters to raise awareness and mobilize the entire school community around environmental issues.
He says the posters highlighted five themes: “rethink, reduce, refuse, reuse, recycle” presenting information on the impacts of pollution, global warming and the loss of biodiversity.
Fontaine adds the award was presented at the BRAVO! 2024 Awards Gala held this past Saturday, October 26th.
